I set the content type of my jsp page to ms-excel and it is opening in excel too , but i don't see the rows and columns..i see it only after i change the format cells of the ms-excel ..Is there any way i could see it as soon as i see the excel page without manually formatting it?
Thanks in advance,

It looks like you need to put the format inf. when you call the excel.

If you output the data as an HTML table, Excel will interpret it as the rows and columns of the spreadsheet.
