Hi Guys..
I am new here..
I have got a problem here..Hope someone can help me..
I have a link on my JSP webpage..ON click of that it should forward to another web page by these condition
It should take the Domain network ids on the client machine and verify them againist the LDAP server and if it success it should forward the page
This may be possible in ASP..but I neeed it in JAVA..
Any solutions? suggestions please.....

I think this might be one possible solution... just not a good one:
If your client uses Internet Explorer, s/he can set it so that it automatically sends credentials when a web site requires basic authentication.
Tools->"Internet Options..."->Security->Custom Level
Scroll to the bottom and choose "Automatic login with current username and password"
I think this sends the Domain name as part of the user ID. You still have to figure out how to require basic authentication in your server.
I don't know of any other way to do this automatically, as it is somewhat of a privacy violation. Microsoft seems to side with the developer when there is a trade-off between coding convenience and privacy/security.
