Very newbie question

Hi all,
I wrote "hello world" servlet code. Now where should I put this file? I use freeBSD and tomcat is located under /usr/local

it should be /usr/local/<tomcat-dir>/webapps/<yourwebapp-dir>/WEB-INF/classes
If you haven't created a webapp default is ROOT as <yourwebapp-dir>
Don't forget too retstart tomcat after placing it.
