Hi,

Following Definitions are given for
Intranet & Extranet Applications.
Intranet - To access the details within a group of members or within a Organization.
Extranet - To access the details by the well defined external groups.
In that case Say Company "A" has an application that can be accessed by all the members of the Company "A", So can we call it as intranet application to Company A.
And the Company "A" has joint venture with Say Company "B" and some of the members of Company "B" has given access to the above said application , then can we call it as an Extranet Application to company "B".

Please clarify my doubts.
Thanks & Regards,
M.S.Raman

A servlet doesn't care who's using it.

Well, you can't get TO a servlet on an Intranet from outside (Internet).
We have such a setup, however we never use the word Extranet. We just say A.Intranet is a subset of B.Intranet.
Although a quick glance at google shows me that the word is commonly used out there.
