how to setup class path

hi,
when i try to compile servlet i get compile error
(HelloServlet.java:3: package javax.servlet.http does not exist )
but i have set up classpath via system setting like this
set CLASSPATH=.;
C:\ServletDevel;
Tomcat 4.1\common\lib\servlet.jar
so what's the problem?

Check if it is actually a "\" after 'ServletDevel' rather than ";"
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
