my application is redirecting to a remote server for payment processing.
is it possible to send post data using server seide redirects like response.sendRedirect()

s,
u can send the data, but u cannot send morethan 255 characters of data, by using, response.sendRedirect(";alskdf");

in http 1.1 i think there is no limit on the data we send as query string .
but this server side redirect will be get request or Post request

Hello,
if you want to add some thing into the response just simply use response.include() see the syntax and other parameters in the API this will help u much for your requirement.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
