Problem in downloading a file from servlet

Hi All,
I have a servlet which will download the pdf file while click on SUBMIT button.Here I am facing a porblem like file download message window appearing twice (in IE) when my option is 'Open this file in current location'.But when I have choose 'Save this file to disk'option , its (File Download message window) appearing only once.
Is there any way to avoid this?

OutputStream sos = null;
sos = response.getOutputStream();
response.setContentType("application/pdf");
response.setHeader("Content-disposition:", "attachment"); 
sos.write(btArr);//btArr is byte[] object
