Hi again. I declared a tag library descriptor, created my tags and set up the necessary declaration to import my library into a jsp page. Unfortunately I got an error saying that it couldnt find the tag (i thought the taglib descriptor told the jsp page where to find the tag)... to get around the problem i've imported the tag imto the jsp page and it solves the problem... is this normal? should I still have to import the tag or should that have been done by tomcat automatically?
here is my directory structure (using netbeans 3.4 and tomcat 4.1.27) if it helps... am thinking Im not organising my files correctly maybe? jspplayingdir | | | \---WEB-INF | \--Classes | | |---VectorDataTag | | |---VectorDataTEI | | |---tag-template.tld | | | \---lib | | |--- importedjar.jar | | | |---web.xml | |--somejsppage.jsp thanks Chris
