Retrieve and Display Images from a Folder

Hi
I’m building web site for the first time, and I would like to open Images from folder into table with out hard coded.
For example the program will go to folder then count how many Images in the display the Images in HTML page can any one help me please

A servlet and JSP combination would be a good means to accomplish this. The servlet could gather all the folder information, then ship it off to the JSP for formatting.
So yes, this should probably be shuffled off to the Servlet forum (with a better subject line).
