Orginating application URL

Is there any way I can get the orginating application URL that has a link to my application. I need the server path. The request object I only can see the URL on request, I can't find anything on orginating URL.

THat info is sometime available in the REFERER header (and, yes they spelled the word "referrer" wrong).
