Hi All I am having a flash object in html The source for this object is a servlet which generates the data to be shown in that object Now problem is that if servlet is unable to generate proper data then an exception is thrown and error page is sent to the browser. Since browser makes it ready to accept flash object, the error page is executed but not shown on screen. Any idea to solve this???
ok so what sort of error page are we talking about? is this one generated by the container because there was an exception? is this an HTML error page specified in the container config? or is this some HTML error generated by your servlet itself? if you have set the content type to be shockwave flash but you want to change your mind and send HTML instead then someone said recently in the thread that you can use response.reset to set your content type again.
