Hi
I am in process of learning Java!. And different people are giving different options of how to go about developing an application. Now I am stuck at Bean and Servlet usage.
Please let me know
1 What is the difference between a Servlet and a Bean.
2 In which condition, which is used?
3 what is the basic code structure for them.
Thanks

If you want to learn java then "Mastering Java by John zukowaski" is a good book.
After having a basic funda clear , you can read "Core JSP and Servlet from Sun Press"

1) Servlet is class which is executed on server, when any request comes to server.
Bean is any class which has only get/set methods to access its private members.
2) I will suggest to read some good book on Servlet/Jsp.
3) read 2) again.
All the best.
