Hi,
Any application deployed on was 4.0 is deployed on the installed apps folder. can i change the location to point to some other path?

No. WebSphere 5.0 has this capability but not 4.0.

Hi vaithee. I am going to close this thread because it is off-topic for this forum. This forum is for Servlets questions, your question was about Websphere. We do have a Websphere forum, which is the more appropriate forum for this question.
It seems a lot of people post their questions here because it is the first forum on our list, even though their questions have absolutely nothing to do with Servlets.
Since you got a good response here, I am just going to close the thread and not move it.
