Sunny and warm here - not too humid. I'm in Newfoundland, Canada. How's it everywhere else?

Cleo, are you the same telepathic Cleo who comes on TV predicting past events You must be clairvoyant, because just this morning, I was thinking of starting a thread asking people how their dawn was... mine was beautiful today And oh, the weather in my little town Rochester in Minnesota has been a toasty 90F (32C)!

I know they are Cleo. When I growing up my parents had three of them. One was a show dog and the others were just pets. My dad made a harness and attached it to our sleds in the winter and they used to pull us around, it was great. We couldn't take them to my grandparents house either, they had a built in pool, and whenever they saw the pool they'd jump in. They were the best dogs I've ever come had. I've almost got my wife convinced to let me get one - just trying to get her over the slobbering part now!! Dave

Unfortunately, i am totally not clairvoyant I was just trying with all my being to put off studying for Websphere! It worked for a while so woo hoo! on the other hand, if i was clairvoyant, i wouldn't really have to study would i?! Just got back from a fabulous walk - still successful at delaying the study - it looks like the sunset will be great. ~Cleo

Half way across the globe from most of you....the rains are here....heavy downpour has lowered the temperature and caused a remarkable drop in the levels of suspended emissions in air....hence cleaner environment....overcast skies....dark, moisture laden clouds streaking across the sky.....soothing green countryside... Thats in and around Bombay,India.

Sunny and warm in the Netherlands. They predict it's not going to last another day though . Dutch weather is so boring. I lived in the Tropics for a few years... now that was my kind of climate. Even though the hurricanes can be a bit troublesome.

I'm in Sydney Australia. We're heading into the second month of Winter, but you wouldn't know it. Today was 20 degrees Celcius, and tomorrow should be around 18. The sky is blue, people are out enjoying the sunshine, the dogs in the park are in heaven and it's a ripper all round.

We're having a brief heatwave here in southern England, with temperatures reaching 30C, hotter than the French riviera. However it's not going to last, unfortunately we're expecting a thunderstorm to blow it all away soon.

Ugh - yesterday's sunniness (is that even a word) is over. Cloudy and chilly (about 14C) and looks like it will pour from the heavens any time now. Oh well - can't be sunny every day I guess Cleo

It is a perfect day in Detroit, Mich. But am I out there enjoying it??? NO, I am squirreled away in a little cube coding my heart out in a hermetically sealed building. If I stand on tiptoe I can just see the top of a window with sunshine and a warm breeze (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!).

Well, I am terribly jealous of all you who are enjoying the sunshine! Again, a little chilly and going to rain. Ewww. But there it is. Inside working anyway - and not a window in sight so I guess it doesn't matter so much. Cleo

Nope, I missed it. Didn't notice any water on the ground this morning but it was definitely a few degrees cooler. Did you know that the definition of summer in the UK is a few fine days followed by a thunderstorm day?

How cold does it get in real winter, in Sydney? Do any parts of Australia get snow?
