I have a problem stopping tomcat on my computer. Whenever I run shutdown.sh from the bin directory, I get the following:
[ivanjouikov@ned bin] $ ./shutdown.sh

What it sounds like is that the shutdown script is not using the right port - I have no idea how this could come about.
Incidently, since this is Tomcat specific, you should have posted in the Tomcat forum.
