closing a page with 3 frames

I have a page with 3 frame: top, left, right
In the "top" a have a link to a servlet. In that servlet a redirect to a new page... without frame... but it is opened in the "top" frame...I want to close the page with 3 frame a replace with this new page.. How can i do that??? PLS.. I need urgent help! THNX!

You need to use Javascript within the framed page to tell the top-most page to close.

The words "close the page" are misleading - it looks like you want to replace the framed page with new content. In order to do that the link must specify a "target" for the new page. As I recall, target="_parent" is what you want.
This is really a HTML problem - every servlet programmer should have a HTML reference handy.
