Hi There,

I have a parent site and a child site both hosted on different servers and both have different session timeouts !User navigates from parent to child...

The problem is when the user is browsing on the child site, how can a timeout of the parent site be avoided ??

No Javascript !

Please help !!

can you pass the session data from one server/app to the other via the request object and then back again? Then you can reset the session upon retrieval.

Shilpa,
Another alternative is to have the child make a request to the parent each time a transaction occurs on the child site. The parent would update the session to keep it alive and the child would ignore the result and continue processing.
