i have been trying a client/server program using Secure Sockets with JSSE.
the sample program was refered with

Now it was fairly long ago that I went through JSSE stuff, but this may have something to do with setting up a JSSE provider which supports the algorithm you are using.

In any case, you should have a look at the Sun JSSE Reference Guide, if you havent already . It should answer most of your questions.
