i have been trying a client/server program using Secure Sockets with JSSE.
the sample program was refered with

but iam getting the following error....at runtime...

java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: Algorithm sunx509 not available
at com.sun.net.ssl.SunJSSE_d.a(DashoA6275)
at com.sun.net.ssl.KeyManagerFactory.getInstance(DashoA6275)
at ClearClient.run(ClearClient.java:34)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

Now it was fairly long ago that I went through JSSE stuff, but this may have something to do with setting up a JSSE provider which supports the algorithm you are using.

In any case, you should have a look at the Sun JSSE Reference Guide, if you havent already . It should answer most of your questions.
