HTTP and HTTPS

If you browse any banking sites, some of the pages will be HTTPS and some will be HTTP pages. Since I have a single application, can I make some links to post to HTTPS and some to HTTP. Pls note, I don't want to hard code the URL ( like https://somedomain/somepage.do).

My Environment is as follows

client==>> IBM HTTP Server ==>> WebSphere

When the client hits my site, all my data entry screens have to be HTTPS and reamining pages(static JSPs) have to go thru normal HTTP.

FYI,am using struts and I CANNOT use struts ssl -extn as I have a http server in front of the App server. If I had only appserver, this would have worked.

Any suggestions? pls help its urgent

Mary,
The easiest way to handle this is to make all the pages https (except possibly the first page.) Then you can use relative links within the https pages. If you need to switch between http and https, you need to use an absolute path.
