calling SQL loader from servlet

Dear Pals,

I loading some files through SQL loader to oracle database, is it possible for me to call the loader script from my servlet, if so can any one guide to accomplish it, i will be really gratefull to them.

Interesting question.

My first reply is why?

SQLLoader is obviously a progam on the machine, and the container wouldn't have access to run an application on your machine.

You could maybe read in the file and convert to XML and send the XML to Oracle with JDBC.

Just ideas, no concrete answer for you though.
