Overheard - my wife talking to my 4-year-old son in the other room about 5 minutes ago: "Take the fork out of your nose and eat!" That same son of mine, Target parking lot, Chicago 'burbs: "I love the smell of the sea air..."

Live from the Windy City (well, we can get there on the train)... Two adults and three children with a sugar-high; all under the age of four. It's a happenin' place! Oh yeah... my two-year-old daughter calls her blanket "wedgie."

Yeah, we try to keep busy... We're way out west in Oswego. I see from your profile you live in Palatine. I grew up in the area; lived in Naperville most of my life. You oughta go to the Chicago Java User Group sometime and I could meet ya. (www.cjug.org)

lol *picturing a kid sticking a fork up his nose* my bf's adopted baby sister is funny. her first language is french, but she knows i speak only english. so whenever she talks to me she throws together the few english words she knows and it rarely makes sense. though last time i saw her we were having lunch and i was talking and sort of ignoring my food and she kept telling me to eat. but as she hadn't touched her own food yet i said, "no, you eat!" so she looks me square in the eye and with a straight face says "no... i don't eat", like she was stating an obvious fact i should have known. cute
