Hi

any idea abt when we call forward of a request dispatcher in a servlet doget method? what happens to the code after the forward statement ?
Will it be excuted ? My requiremnt is i want to cache my page after the forward iscalled.

An example is >>
{
//..........
RequestDispatcher rd = sc.getRequestDispatcher(requestReceiver);
rd.forward(req,res);

// some other code
.....
} // end of doget method

Hi,

Welcome to JavaRanch!
