I am new to servlets. I have oracle database installed on my system and when I compile the servlet, I am getting the following error.

package javax.servlet does not exist
package javax.servlet.http does not exist

I have set the classpath but might be wrong. Could somebody tell me how to resole this problem.

Also could you tell me how to set the classpath.

Thanks very much

Hi, <name?> -

Setting classpaths is covered in JavaRanch FAQ: How to set a classpath.

Also, please review the JavaRanch user name policy.
