I have no idea about, how to run and how to setpath in Tomcat 5.0
environment.

You don't need to set a classpath in Tomcat. It searches for classes in a set of directories.

If you're just trying to compile your servlets, make sure servlet-api.jar (servlet.jar in older releases) is on your classpath. It's under the TOMCAT_HOME/common/lib directory.
