sir
as i want to check the user name and password through servlet and if it will match
the i have to send th other page and if the user name and password does not match then it will send an error window.how to do this

Setup a servlet which will read the 2 parameters from the client, and, as appriopiate, forward the desired page (e..g welcome.jsp or error.jsp).
