Dear All,

I would like to start discussion on solution patterns to the following problem.

In a load balanced, clustered and heighly secureed environment, how can a web application allow File I/O. I mean how can files be created and accessed by users in a transperant way.

Let us ignore the following solutions from the possibles and discuss the solution patterns.

1) Files should not be used
2) File/Content has to be managed in a sharable folder or accessible data source(database etc) to all nodes in the cluster.

Hi!

I think that it will be part of your EA certification.

There should be somekind external storage, what all nodes will going to use. Like somekind shared harddisk, etc.
