I created one servlet using AWT components. And i put one value as Primary key in database i.e Id.I want that id to pass to the other servlet i.e without typing that id on that servlet.

Is it sharing data b/w servlets???

All you need is a good book on servlets.
Strating with Head First Servlet is a nice option.

ServletContext is just for that purpose. You can share data among your sevlets using it(provided all these servlets reside in the same servlet container).

I've used some AWT classes in a servlet once.
Wasn't a good idea as the deployment server had no videocard causing AWT to explode when trying to instantiate those classes.

The JVM switch "headless" will clear that up.
