Hi all...
I downloaded the tomcat for website.

After downloading i followed all the step in the following website

In which they have asked to test the server by clicking the startup.bat file. When i did that command prompt window gets opened. After running few lines the window gets hanged.

The final line in the command prompt appears like this

INFO:JK running ID=0 time=0/40 config=C:\jakarat-tomcat-4.1.31\bin\..\conf\

after which the window is hanging.

It will be great if someone helps me to solve this problem.

Hey with the last line message you have typed it seems your server is perfectly launched and you can test it by opening the IE and type http://localhost:8080, it should open the index.jsp for you,

Yep, but you got it right when you posted in the Apache/Tomcat forum, so I will close this dup.
