Adding virtual directory

hi i want to add a virtual directory say c:\Project as a virtual directory how do i do it.

Could you clarify what you're trying to do? I'm not sure what you mean by "virtual directory".

i want to put my webapps in the above mentioned directory rather than in the tomcat\webapps directory.

Any particular reasons? I couldn't think of any rational reason.

You can change the appBase attribute of the Host entry in your TOMCAT_HOME/conf/server.xml file
