Hi All ! I am new to servlets and don't know abt tomact settings . Could anyone tell me from where to download tomcat , how to set it n run first servlet on it?

Google for "download tomcat" and you're right there. There's also plenty of documentation on all aspects of Tomcat, including installation.

I doubt that google runs tomcat. apache.org is right place to start.
