I have a servlet which serves different HTML for different browser's(Based up on the browser type, version etc). Does any body know any browser sniffer (from any open source community like jakarta). I feel that this is a common problem many people would face I wonder if their isn't one already available. I didn't want to reinvent the cycle. I would greatly Appreciate any help.
I know you can get that info fairly easily (offhand I think it's in the HTTP Request), but many browsers (firefox, oprah, ect...) can present themselves as whatever the user wishes them to (I can choose from several different versions of IE, mozilla, oprah, and a couple other I think from firefox).
