upload file from windows for Unix server

I am in a dilemma here. I have to upload a .txt file from a windows location for my web application which is unix based. I have read files from the a location in unix before but I am not sure how to handle this one. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Can you be more clear. Do you need to upload programatically or manually?

I use Apache slide, it works like a charm. You can try also davenport to load file to Unix directly from Windows. Both products are servlet based and work out of the box.
