Please guide me how to starts of .

I have downloaded the books. I will start learning now.

I have posted this thinking that there are lot of experts around, so with their experiance they will suggest some books that are good and helpful.
I keep gooogling and start reading after that I don't feel very confident about the subject. That is the reason I asked for advice.
