Hi all,
I am still confused with what a Bean really means ?
Is it just a class dedicated to perform a kind of job -- specialized in the Model part of the MVC paradigm or is it something else ? (a class that has to extend Bean or something ?)

Can anyone please give me a clear explanation of what a Bean is and what JavaBeans are ?

Thank you in advance.
regards,

Look at chapter 13 (downloadable PDF) from this book.
It has a really good explanation for what beans are and how they are used in an MVC app.
