How to access data from other sites

I need help. I want to search data from other websites through my website and getting results from that to my website.

Actually i have problem how to fetch the data from other web site by passing query and execute remote web site and finally fetch result from that

Can any one Please give a solution for me.

I have used HttpUnit (on SourceForge) with good success for accessing web sites programmatically, and retrieving the results. It's meant for testing, but works just fine in other contexts.
