This week's book giveaway is in the Mac OS forum. We're giving away four copies of a choice of "Take Control of Upgrading to Yosemite" or "Take Control of Automating Your Mac" and have Joe Kissell on-line! See this thread for details.
I have servlet that adds a record to database and forwrds to a jsp page when i click on refresh in IE the servlet is getting executed everytime so every time same record is adding to database creating more records
Query the database before you insert and if you don't find then only insert. Do you have primary key/unique key in your table? This will automatically avoid creating duplicate rows. I have come across that session can be used to handle refresh, but I never tried.
