Can someone please help me compare servlet context (application) attributes and session attributes from performance point of view? Which is faster to retrieve and update at runtime? Where are they stored - in RAM or server hard disk?

Thanks<br />Sid

Any performance difference would be completely negligible and should not be used as a basis on your decision. Use the context that makes the most sense.
