I have doubts xml will ever be what it aspires to be. it is fine for conf files for my apache server but i dont see it becoming a major force it aspires to be. any comments?

Randall,
I think XML has many features to be something that it appears to be now. What else can be its competetor u think? Java has so nice support 4 XML and also .Net platform walk around it....then why not man....think abt its platform independency....
