Hi,

I am looking for a utility to to parse the content posted in a text area or text box and filter out email addresses or web site names. If there is any filter or utility available, I would appreciate if you tell me about it.

Thanks.

Any reason looking for utility to do this? All you need to do is
- Create a Filter and configure it in web.xml
- In the doFilter() method iterate over request parameters
- Use regular expression to find the email and web url pattern

I am not sure you have in-built utility to do this.

Not a servlet issue so moved to Java in General.
