How to Mix Applets with Struts Application

I have the following requirement.

Currently I am doing some transaction in a page(Struts Flow). I am idle for 15 mins there. Now if I click on any button on that page, One applet should be displayed asking the user name and password once again. After taking these inputs I have to validate that and continue with the previous transaction from where it is left.

So how can I combine Applets with Struts frame work. Please suggest me. Very urgent....

Why do you want to use an applet for this? This introduces a number of complications that can be avoided by using a login form.
