What am I?

Clue - there's a vague link to an event that is very important to the company I work for. Bonus points who can figure out what it is!!

Yeah it is.. One of BA's three-hour flight over the Atlantic Ocean was the first test of a second concorde plane, called Alpha Echo.
And the answer to the riddle is Echo :-)

bang on correct!! Oh except it wasn't a test. It was the first BA Commerical Concorde flight since the Air France Concorde crash in Paris last year!
