Hi,
I suggest you of reading a book for learning servlet.
The problem you are experiencing should get resolved just after reading the first chapters.
If you're not in the condition of spending time, or today is the last day you'll see a servlet in your life, then check this thread:
yesterday beginner thread
the answer is in the web.xml file.

We will need a lot more information from you before we could give you any help with this.

Post your deployment descriptor (web.xml file).
Post your servlet's code.
Tell us exactly where your servlet's class file is located.
Post the URL that you're using when trying to access your servlet.

Without all of that, people here can only make guesses.

The most likely chances are that the ".class" file is not under the
WEB-INF/classes folder , check to make sure its located there.

Hi,

If you use the jsp to submit the form means check your form tag

<form action="servlet_name" method=""post>
--

some codes here
--
</form>

And check your web.xml file config

<servlet-mapping>

<servlet name>submit</ser>
<url-pattern>/submit</url-pa>

</servlet-mapping>

Please Refer HeadFirst Servlet & JSP
