Does anyone know of a way to reset the HTTP Session Timeout Timer from within the application? I'm open to using any means on the following APIs:
- Java Servlet 2.3
- Spring 1.2.2
- WebWork 2.1.7

This is an older application I'm supporting for a client and they've requested that the application reset the HTTP Session timer upon a couple specific user Actions.

Any thoughts? Thanks for any and all help.

The timer gets set each time the user hits the page.
If that's not what you meant, can you give us some more details about what you're trying to do?

you can invalidate the session and then get a new session.. that will "reset" it.. but will also kill the active one all together..
