hi all,

1)i am new in ajax..is ajax client side program or serverside program.
ajax is a frame work right? we are using javascript and servlet..
so i get confusion ..so anybody tell me the answer pls.

2)is applet client side program ???

Applets are client side program.
Servlets are server side.

Applets require browser or appletviewer tool for execution.

Not sure about AJAX .

Yes Ajax is client side, executes in browser.
Ajax(Asynchronous JavaScript and XML).

we are using javascript and servlets

You would be making request to servlet from your Ajax based application running in browser.
