Servlet Just Gives Request One Time

I have javascript that uses jQuery.getJSON to request dynamic data. Once the request is made the first time I cannot get it to request again unless I send it different parameter values.

My situation: I have an input box for a badge number and a button to run code to confirm the badge number and get inspection stamp assignments. This is done with jQuery.getJSON.

I also have input boxes and a button to add inspection stamp assignments to the user of verified badge number also using jQuery.getJSON.

Now after I verify the badge number, get the assignments, I add another assignment. Then I click on the badge verify button the list is not refreshed to display the latest addition. It will not until I close the app and start it again.

Sounds like a caching issue.

See this servlet FAQ entry.
