I am generating an excel file from a servlet by setting mimeType = "application/". I have my excel file generated, but ofetn with a very big size(for ex;- 20 MB). Then I opend the excel file and save as another excel file(save as type *.xls). The size is reduced to 4 MB. So my question is there any other parameters(header or any other..) need to set up, so that I can reduce the size?
