Hi,
I am generating an excel file from a servlet by setting mimeType = "application/vnd.ms-excel". I have my excel file generated, but ofetn with a very big size(for ex;- 20 MB). Then I opend the excel file and save as another excel file(save as type *.xls). The size is reduced to 4 MB. So my question is there any other parameters(header or any other..) need to set up, so that I can reduce the size?

Thanks

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
