dispaly records in format of excel

Hello Ranchers,
i am in very confusion i am having one table in database and i want to fetch some records from database through the programming java (j2ee) i am not able to find out . can any one give me one example for it and any sites where which is useful for this
i am very thankful

You just want to get the records from database or printthem in excel format...

I think the simplest way is to fetch the data using JDBC (you can look at PreparedStatement class, for instance) and to use the JavaRanch FAQ about JSP and Excel (as Muhammad pointed out) to send that to the user browser.

unable to determine your current display name as in the post it is showing aarvind and in the topic starter its gan_arvind.
