problem with servlet?

Hi,
please let me know, where can i find the <servlet-mapping> in web.xml

and how and where to attach it.(html to servlet problem).

please give me a brief explanation.

looks like missing the <servlet-mapping> in web.xml

The status code 404 means the resource you requested aint found by server,

You have to copy paste your web.xml file with the link which you are requesting !

where can i find the <servlet-mapping> in web.xml

You need to put one in that configuration file.
