I have have develpoed a application for uploading CSV file to the remote database using multipart/form-data in which JSP hits a servlet.

It was working fine previously, but now suddenly it has stopped working.

Now every time i try to upload a file it shows a message "do you want to save this file?" The filename is my servlet class plus some characters.

Have no clue why this is happening..

any help would be appreciated

Thanks
Rohit

Hi Rohit, welcome to Javaranch.

You'll probably need to post some more details (code snippet, log messages etc) about your problem (see the HowToAskQuestions link in my sig), hopefully we can help narrow it down for you after that!

try to upload a file it shows a message "do you want to save this file?"

This message appears to be on the client side.
If your code is to upload a file to the server and it used to work, how is it now sending a file from the server to the client (downloading)?
servlet class plus some characters.

What are the "some characters?"

Thanks guys for the reply.. and sorry for the obscure post...
The problem has been solved.

There was tablespace constraint, after the DBA resolved it the problem dissappeared.

@Norm
I have no clue about your first question.

@Martijn

Hope this post is more clear.
