In other words, are we bartenders only when we post in our designated forums? That idea raises for me a notion of 'jurisdiction', which seems to me better applied to sheriffs.
Kidding aside: bartenders don't have 'off-duty' signs: people know who we are. It would be nice to retain the handle wherever we go, and avoid confusion.

I can move it and any sheriff can move it. The reason I haven't just moved it is because it started out as one thing and evolved into a discussion about why the bartender tag isn't on everywhere. It also could be discussed in the MO forum. But the original was you making a joke about all of the ranch hands who happen to be bartenders.
